Event Details
Three Downtown Titusville businesses will combine to celebrate DENIM! with Fashion, Art, Wine and a Tasty dinner on Friday, October 19, 2018, a night out to support a good cause from 6 to 9 pm. They encourage everyone to Wear a pair, Bring a pair, Buy a pair!
Hotpoint Boutique at 326 S. Washington Avenue showcases the coolness of denim. They have partnered with Blue Jeans Go Green to collect old denim clothing which will be shredded and used to make home insulation batting. This fiberglass alternative is then distributed to Habitat for Humanity throughout the United States! Your donation earns you $20 off a new pair of jeans at Hotpoint Boutique!
Go next door to MacSweets and dine on Ropa Vieja,. The literal translation is "old clothes" but this delicious dish of shredded beef stew served over yellow rice is anything but old. You can purchase a plateful with warm Cuban bread and a sweet treat for only $10!
Then cross the street to the Downtown Art Gallery to enjoy a delicious autumn inspired complementary wine sampling while you view the work of 17 talented local artists. Meet the artists and watch plein air artist Terrence Cope in a live art demonstration!
For information go to their Facebook event page DENIM or call Julie at 321-264-0777
