Father's Day gift adventure. This class ticket is a special price for 2 people. A Dad and spouse or a Dad and son/daughter/friend (see details below about age requirements).
Event Details
Learn how to weld at a beginner welding class! Create your own scrolled decorative product which is yours to keep.
This class will include:
Safety procedures for welding
Basic welding terms
How to weld by sound
Recognizing a good weld and a bad Weld / Cold Weld
Understanding setup a MIG Welder and the NOS gas settings
How to weld flat stock and angle iron in different positions
Basics of buying welding helmets, gloves, etc.
You will get dirty, so be sure to wear an old t-shirt and full length jeans, and regular tennis shoes or full coverage leather shoes, no open toe shoes.
MUST buy a ticket on Eventbrite to have a seat in the class reserved.
Must be 18 or older or a ticket must be bought for adult and child if a high school student wants to participate. Students subject to cancellation if not following safety rules.
