It's that time of year again! You finally have an excuse to wear that one American flag patterned article of clothing you've been pulling out for the last five years on the 4th of July. Lucky for you, Independence Day can be celebrated all week long, and this year’s Fourth of July events in Brevard County will not disappoint.

Red Hot & Boomin' BBQ 

Make sure to get your tickets to celebrate Independence Day at the Cocoa Civic Center with some good food and better company. All proceeds benefit the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and attendees will receive a BBQ dinner and dessert, free parking, and reserved seating for the BSO’s July 4th: Symphony Under the Stars Concert and the following firework show. 

Smoke on the Water

Celebrate the 4th of July at the Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village! Beginning at 5 pm, there will be food and fun for the whole family. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra will be performing live at 8 pm, followed by fireworks over the Indian River Lagoon around 9 pm. 

Great American Celebration 

This Independence Day, the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera is hosting a game of catch you’re not gonna want to miss. The USSSA Pride plays the Beijing Eagles at 6:30 pm, and the game will be followed by fireworks, visible from the stadium, at 9 pm.

Palm Bay's Independence Celebration

From 4 to 9 pm, there will be over 25 food trucks, vendors, a kid’s zone, live music, and giveaways at the Eastern Florida State College Palm Bay Campus. Performances by Blue Stone Circle and Mackenzie Carey will be the event’s ongoing entertainment until the firework show steals the spotlight at 9 pm.

4th of July Firecracker 5k

What better way to kick off Independence Day than with a morning run? At 7 am, the Firecracker 5K will begin at Front Street Civic Center. The race course goes over the Melbourne Causeway, and all participants will receive a flag, popsicle, and Einstein Bros Bagels breakfast at the finish line!

Red, White and BOOM! 

This year, Titusville is celebrating the 4that Sand Point Park with live music, vendors, family activities, and – of course – fireworks! Plan to finish your food by 9:15 to fully enjoy the firework show over Marina Park.

City of Rockledge Independence Day Picnic 

For the 32nd time, the city of Rockledge is hosting a 4th of July picnic at McLarty Park. From 10 am to 3 pm, the whole family will enjoy games, music, activities, and $1 lunch!
