Our bagels are bakes in the old-fashioned New York tradition. Joe was born in a small town in Israel named Ramat Hasharon. He grew up in his mom's kitchen and was deeply inspired by her cooking. One of his main jobs growing up was baking the traditional bagels every Shabbat. Over the years, Joe's love, lead him to specialize in baking, and today he is a known expert in dough development. When Joe moved to Los Angeles, he founded a very successful bagel shop chain, with over 10 bagel stores spread all over the west coast. After years in the west, Joe decided to relocate and to shift his expertise to the east, so he moved the operation to north California.
