The primary is James Kirk.HistoryThe unique secondary school was based on New Haven Avenue in 1919. It is currently the Henegar Center. In 1948, the old Eau Gallie High School on Pineapple Avenue shut. Their previous understudies were transported to Melbourne High. Revolving International sanctioned their first Interact benefit club ever with 23 understudies at the school in 1960.In around 1953, Zora Neale Hurston organized the school's initially incorporated show, however the school had not yet been coordinated itself.The school experienced race riots amid the time of combination from 1969-1972.The school's International Baccalaureate Prep program began amid the 2006-2007 school year.In 2009 Melbourne High School turned into a magnet school which incorporates an Academy of Business and Finance.
