Dance, Dine, and help raise awareness and funds to help save the Indian River Lagoon! Please join us! Each year we serve up great food, beverages, and a stellar music line-up on the lagoon, at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House in Palm Bay, Florida! MRC LagoonFest is the biggest benefit for the Indian River Lagoon! MRC LagoonFest is a huge success! Great bands play to lagoon lovers and supporters throughout the day. Millions are reached through the media campaign including billboards, radio, newspaper, and social media advertising. The event generates positive vibrations and the necessary seed funds to initiate the Ecological Health Assessment that will be used to establish grading metrics for the first ever Indian River Lagoon Report Card, ultimately determining the corrective action needed to restore and save the estuary, with the 1st publication expected by the end of 2017. We are investing in a two day event to double our community outrach! The MRC is now seeking community partners, to sponsor the 3nd Annual LagoonFest proposed for the end of September 2017. It will be the largest public awareness campaign launched, designed to educate and activate the community in our fight to restore and save the Indian River Lagoon.
