COLLAGE AND CUISINE DINNER AT THE MUSEUM WITH ARTIST DEREK GORES

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Celebrate the final day of Derek Gores: Local Edition at the Foosaner Art Museum with Collage & Cuisine, a feast for the eyes and the palate! This dinner party kicks off at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 23, in the Foosaner galleries in the Eau Gallie Arts District.
Featured artist, Satellite Beach resident, Derek Gores will be in attendance along with Guest Curator, Serene McGroarty. Musical entertainment with the jazz stylings of Kristen Warren. With Gores’ vibrant and whimsical artwork providing the inspiration, Florida Tech’s Chef de Cuisine, Jon Skoviera and his team will provide the catering services with a variety of passed appetizers and gourmet food stations staged in the galleries.
“Derek Gores: Local Edition has been such a popular exhibit, it seems only fitting to send it off in a unique way, with guests experiencing the galleries from a fresh perspective,” says Executive Director Carla Funk.
Says artist Derek Gores, "It has been an absolute career high to see my work curated in this way. I greatly look forward to an evening sharing stories of the art and installation of the show, and feeling the glow of the space one last time."
All profits from the show will support the Foosaner Art Museum’s Art Exhibition Fund.
A limited number of tickets are available; and include passed appetizers, gourmet food stations, dessert, wine and beer. Tickets are $75 per person/$150 a couple.
