Permanently Closed.. Pistilli Restaurant Story
In the spring of 1949, my grandfather, Albert Pistilli, lost his leg in a construction
accident and as a result my grandmother was forced to go to work to support their family.
They built a small one room addition to their home, in Bernardsville, NJ, purchased 6 tables, 24 chairs and my grandmother began to cook and serve dinners for a living.
In 1999, the restaurant was sold after my grandmother passed away. At that time,
the restaurant had 3 kitchens, 4 bars with facilities for parties, banquets and weddings
accommodating up to 300 people, served lunch and dinner. As a young boy, I started to work
in the restaurant and began to dream of owning my own restaurant.
In 2005, I came to Indian Harbour Beach, Florida to open a small pizzeria selling sandwiches & pizza for pick-up/take-out & delivery. In the spring of 2007, we expanded our menu to include dinners and added 30 seats for dine-in. In the fall of 2010, we moved to our present location, down the street from our first location, to a restaurant with 110 seats.
In April of 2014 my wife and I moved to Titusville, not knowing what to expect. After just a short time living in this town, we realized we really loved living here. We discussed how wonderful it would be to have our restaurant in this great town. With no idea how we would be able to move the restaurant here, we did a lot of praying. We met the amazing owners of Caffe Chocolat (Joe and Huey )and shared with them our dreams
