The Downtown Art Gallery, 335 S. Washington Ave in historic downtown Titusville is proud to be the home of four winners in the recent North Brevard Art League’s Annual Art Show. Gallery owner Heidi Thamert won the overall Best Of Show award for her black and white photo “104 Years of Faith”. Dale Nichols was the first place winner in photograpy for “Mystic Mangroves”. Terry Cope won third place in oil/acrylic painting for his colorful spoonbills, “Trese Espatulas Rosadas”. Diane Deshong Cannon was awarded third place in watercolors for “Orchid Fall”.
The Downtown Art Gallery is a longtime supporter of the Art League and offers a supportive home to eighteen local artists in their gallery, as well as doing the printing and framing for many area artists. You can view the winners through May 4, 2019 . The Gallery is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 11 am to 3 pm. There is always always great selection of paintings, photographs, digital art, baskets and gourds, jewelry, pottery and more with an emphasis on the local environment.
