Hello turtle lovers Join us once more in downtown Titusville June 8 and 9 for the 8th Annual Titusville Sea Turtle Festival.
We’ll kick off Friday morning, June 8th 8am -11am at Playalinda Beach-. Join the Canaveral National Seashore rangers at the Eddy Creek Pavilion for Coffee & Turtle Talk and the popular Jr. Ranger Program & Obstacle Course! Kids, earn your Jr. Ranger Badge! Or help out with the Keep Brevard Beautiful beach cleanup.
Then the fun continues in downtown Titusville Friday evening from 4pm-9pm at the Sea Turtle Festival Street Party with Live Music from Mak of Steel (steel drums), artisan vendors, food, Turtle Crawl View the Youth Art Competition,(details at tvillegallery@aol.com) stop by the kids zone with face painting and more, and maybe a surprise visit from Katey the Mermaid! It all happens in the Commons area along Mariners Way just behind the buildings on Washington
Come downtown Saturday , June 9 from 9am-4pm where the fun continues with artists and vendors, food, educational booths, view the Youth Art Competition, do the Turtle Crawl, kids zone, face painting, hands on crafts and live Hula dancers!
In case you have forgotten, the popular Turtle Crawl does not involve crawling! You visit 10 businesses in the two block downtown area and find the hidden turtles. When you find them all, you are entered in a drawing for a basket filled with merchandise and gift certificates.
