The White Sands Buddhist Center is pleased to announce that there will be a retreat for English speakers at our monastery on Sunday, May 20, 2018. We cordially invite you to participate in this meditation retreat.

9:40 - Interfaith prayers (Christian and Buddhist prayers)
9:50 - Teachings by Ven. Khai Thien, Ph.D, and Rev. Morris
11:00 - Practice sitting meditation with 5 minutes tai chi between sections
11:45 - Group photography
12:00 - Formal lunch in mindfulness
1:00 pm - Rest in mindfulness
2:30 - Sitting / walking meditation with 5 minutes tai chi between sections
3:00 -Questions and Answers
