Muscle Memory 2: Dance into the light. Friday, August 17th, 7pm at Derek Gores Gallery
A collision of dance and art, featuring Muscle Memory Dance Co. and guests.
Participating in the event are Kiana & Jack from Cloudbreak Circus who specialize in hand to hand partnering of dynamic balance and movement. Kiana, grew up here in Brevard County but has danced with Joffery Ballet and New World School of the Arts. Also featured will be the Muscle Memory Dance Company.
Gores and Mercado paired local dancers with visual artist to bring the art off the walls and into the creative space of Derek Gores Gallery. This year the event will be in darkness with the only light provided by the guests. Flashlights will be given at the door to enhance your visual light stimulation of art and movement. The evening will include dance, art, interactive movement and a DJ.
$10 presale tickets. $15 at the door.
