The Lifelong Scholar Society will meet at the Center for Aeronautics and Innovation at 6:00 p.m., then travel just around the corner to the College of Aeronautics Emil Buehler Center for Aviation Training and Research.
Event Details
We will tour the facility and the flight line, have an opportunity to see all the FIT planes and learn all about Florida Tech’s Airline Pilot Training program from Nick Galli, student services manager. We will then return to the CAI building to tour the simulation training facility and will even have an opportunity to try flight training on one of the simulators! Florida Tech is the only regionally accredited national university to offer large jet airliner type rating courses for academic credit that may be applied to a four-year bachelor's degree, and this is a very special opportunity to get an inside look at FIT aviation.
