Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center™ will celebrate its second anniversary with its first-ever Manatee Lagoon’s ManateeFest 2018, featuring a line-up of fun family events over the Feb. 3-4 weekend.
Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
This event features FREE admission and parking. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
Visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy complimentary face painting, a photo experience featuring Mia the Manatee and a SEAsonal selfie station, a marine life-themed coloring station, an interactive H2O bus exhibit, facility tours and more.
Offerings include a Manatee Lagoon passport activity, where participants receive a passport booklet in which they complete fill-in-the-blank statements and receive stamps as they visit designated Manatee Lagoon's ManateeFest 2018 stations to be eligible to claim a prize (limited supplies available).
Additionally, Manatee Lagoon will host a book signing with Robert Scott Thayer, author of the “Kobee Manatee” series of children’s publications, highlighting the marine adventures of Kobee the manatee.

Exhibits include: Sea to Shore Alliance interactive H20 bus, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission manatee rescue truck, Florida Fishing Academy mobile exhibit, Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Save the Manatee Club
