Tournament Points: Governed by the Florida Saltwater Recreational Fishing Regulations 2018 1. Be on time: You mustbe signed-in before the event begins for points to count.

Sign-in by 8:15 am Please be; “On-time Fishing Scoring Begins at 8:30 am ; Fishing Scoring Ends at 12:15 pm
2. “Unregulated Fish” earns 0 points. Pin Fish, Jacks, Whiting, White Grunts, Black Margate, and Catfish etc.3. Each “Regulated Fish” of illegal size earns 1 point and mustbe released.4. Each “Regulated Fish” of legal keep size earns 3 points, if released add 1 point.5. Each legal fish caught on artificial bait only (no cut or live bait attached) earns 1 point.6. The longest fish of the day earns 1 point.7. The first fish of the day earns 1 point.8. The most legal “Regulated Fish” of the day earns 1 point.9. No accidently snagged fish will count and mustbe released.Academic Points: Earned each grading period.“A’s” 3pts. each“B’s” 2pts each”C’s” 1pt. eachSchool academic, or sports, or community service recognition/awards earn 2 points (limited to one per semester).
The student is responsible for informing their school’s sponsor/leader for Academic Points to be included for each semester’s point totals.
