Event Details
Project WILD is a national wildlife education program. The program is designed to help educators and youth group leaders teach about wildlife and the environment through engaging, hands-on educational activities. The curriculum is designed for K-12 students, and incorporates all subjects, from math to music!
Project Learning Tree is an award winning, national environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators working with youth from preschool through 12th grade. This interdisciplinary curriculum promotes understanding of our environment and the importance of conservation through lessons that encourage critical thinking and creative problem solving.
By attending this workshop, you will receive hands-on training in both programs, a chance to win fun door prizes, and you'll leave with a hard copy of the Project WILD and Project Learning Tree curricula. Both Project Wild and Project Learning Tree are correlated to Sunshine State Standards.
This workshop must have at least 10 participants signed up, or it will be cancelled.
If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Lazzari, 4-H Agent at a.lazzari11@ufl.edu or (321) 633-1702.
