Brevard Ballet Youth Company presents its third annual “The Nutcracker Ballet.”
Event Details
This visually stunning rendition of the classic holiday tale features everything audiences love about the “Nutcracker Ballet,” including familiar characters and magical scenery, plus a few unique elements.
With top-notch dancing, elaborate handmade costumes and props, hand-painted backdrops, and support from an international production team, the show is quickly becoming an annual favorite among Brevard residents.

The entire project is based on Artistic Director Elena Shokhina’s vision to create a high-caliber production using dancers from the youth company – which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Brevard Ballet Academy – along with academy students and visiting professional dancers.
Elena's exceptional leadership comes from years of training at the world-famous Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia and her 16-year career as a principal dancer in both the United States and Russia.
