Event Details

"Cause of Death: Homicide", was filmed in Palm Bay by filmmakers Ray and Migdalia Etheridge with local actors Ron Misak, Paul Van Scott, and Sergey Bougie. The plot of this 26 minute film, which the Etheridges describe as a suspense-drama, involves an accidental drowning, which may have been a case of "homicide for insurance". "Cause of Death: Homicide" is one of 31 short films scheduled for the 2 day film festival. The programs will showcase films from all over the U.S., including several from Florida filmmakers. Genres include animation, documentary, comedy, drama, horror, trailers, commercials, and web series. The Friday, July 20 program begins at 2pm, and the Saturday, July 21 show is at 2pm as well. Both shows are at the Comfort Suites, on Malabar Road in Palm Bay, and admission is free. The shows are rated "R" for language and adult situations, and are not recommended for children.
