Calling everyone who likes to grow their own vegetables or would like to learn how to grow their own vegetables!

Join us for the Be Healthy: Grow Your Own Vegetables four class series beginning August 2nd. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from August 7th through the 28th from 6-7 pm. Learn how to grow vegetables in containers (and receive instructions on how to make a sub-irrigated planter (SIP) so you can grow vegetables at home. Participants will also learn how grow transplants from seed and/or cuttings plus, how to grow nutrient dense food. The topics that will be covered in the four classes include: Propagating Plants from Seeds and Cuttings, a copy of our Florida Vegetable Gardening Guide, & What Plants Need to Grow; Complete Plant Nutrition & Container Gardening; Nurture the Soil; and Strategies for Pest Control.
Each ticket includes all the handouts and some seeds of an heirloom tomato, cucumber, and sugar snap peas. Couples can pay for 1 ticket if they want to share everything. It doesn't matter if you have a huge yard or just a balcony, everyone can grow their own nutritious food!
The cost of the class is just $50.
