Event Details
Pete Steenland is showcasing his sixth exhibit with the Studios of Cocoa Beach this April, celebrating two years as a Brevard County resident. His art reflects a deep appreciation for nature's intricacies, drawing inspiration from both small plants and grand subjects. With an AA degree in Art and Biology and a BA in Studio Art with a focus on Marine Sciences from the University of West Florida, Pete also brings 32 years of experience as a licensed Merchant Marine Captain. The exhibit features original works like *In the Garden Depths*, highlighting Florida native flora and fauna with a unique blend of abstraction and realism. He uses various media, including watercolor, oils, and acrylics.
