Introution to Stained Glass

The Studios of Cocoa Beach is hosting a 3 session “Introduction to Stained Glass” Class . When the class was offered in August it quickly sold out so the Studios is offering it again , beginning on Wednesday November 3, 2021, from 6 to 9 pm. The class will meet again on November 10 and 17.

Jamille Haddad is the instructor. He has been designing and producing stained glass and fused glass art in the central Florida area for over 40 years. " I strive for beautiful craftsmanship while pushing the material to its limits in creating art to enhance our living and working environments."

Mr. Haddad will take you through the entire process of creating a stained glass work of art! The first week will focus on glass-cutting techniques, choosing design and selecting colors. Week Two will involve cutting the glass for the project, and includes an introduction to the copper foil technique. During the third week, students will finish cutting and foiling their projects, and prepare for soldering.

Fee for the class is $150 plus a $50 supply fee which covers all necessary materials. Students should wear closed toe shoes and safety glasses.
