Ocean Paddling Weekend 2019 Banana River, Florida
Come join Dan Gavere and learn the best techniques and practices for Open Ocean SUP paddling during a unique experience in one of Florida's most beautiful beach locations. This weekend will help you get from the flat water to feeling confident in approaching open ocean sup paddling for distance or even racing.
From beach launching to surf landings, paddling in the wind, navigating and reading ocean currents, to cross-chop paddling, footwork, and even recovering from a fall and remounting all has its own particular techniques and best practices to work safely and efficiently while in an open ocean environment.
Dan will review any of your personal equipment and evaluate each individuals technique and provide specialized feedback critiques tailored to each participant's skill level to help them breakthrough any barriers they may have. It's an amazing opportunity to prepare for the Carolina Cup (Graveyard Race) or simply to take your paddling skills and confidence to the next level.
