Visit the Studios for the gala exhibit opening of "Highways & Byways" where 9 guest artists interpret the lure of the open road. Reception includes refreshments, a drawing for a free art work and a chance to meet the artists

The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach has challenged nine guest artists to create works featuring roads, alleys, vintage roadside attractions and unusual perspectives on travel. On Friday January 25, from 6 to 9pm there will be a reception opening the “Highways and Byways” exhibit.
Participating artists include Russ Wheatley, Lyssa Bowen, Jim Kalupa, Rose Scholder, Heather Kelly, Hassan Patterson, Alex Stankiewicz, Grace Amore Savage, and Florida Highway Men Historic Artist AJ Brown
The evening includes wine and food bites and a free drawing for an artwork by Studios member Tony Sasso. Show awards, sponsored by the Heidelberg Restaurant in Cocoa Beach, will be announced. The reception is an opportunity to talk to the exhibit artists and also meet many of the Studios resident artists who present paintings, photography, fiber art, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture and more.
The exhibit will be on display daily from January 25 through March 18 at the Studios of Cocoa Beach. This non-profit, co-op gallery presents the work of 30 local artists and offers workshops and classes for adults and children in a variety of techniques. The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30am-3:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 am-8pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
