Precious Metal Clay Jewelry Class at Studios of Cocoa Beach

You can create beautiful silver jewelry, perfect for holiday gift giving. The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach is offering a one day class on "Precious Metal Clay Jewelry.” You can choose from four dates in October: Friday, October 12, Saturday, October 13, Saturday October 27, or Sunday, October 28. The class is from 10am - 4pm (with a 2-hour kiln firing break)

Paula Tormey will teach the class on creating with silver clay. Jewelry pieces will be created from the clay by hand or with molds, then fired at high temperature, burning off the clay and leaving a 99.9% silver object, the purest silver there is! Cost of each one day class is $145 which includes all equipment and 25 grams of clay. You can sign up for one or more classes. Each is a beginner class but repeat students will work on more complex designs.
