The venue is International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach. We have a block of rooms at an event room rate of $89 at the International Palms Resort. Call the resort directly, (321) 783-2271, and mention the Florida Surf Museum's WATERMAN'S CHALLENGE.
Event Details
On-line registrations closes Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 5:00pm. $25 for first division, $15 for each additional division.
If there are slots left you can register Friday June 1, 5-7pm – International Palms: $35 per division.
Tent sponsorships are for 2 days. Sponsor fees must be paid by May 11 in order to be sure your logo is included on the shirts and posters. Please send your logo (jpeg format) to flsurfmuseum@gmail.com
NO Beach Registration.
Age Divisions for Men's Shortboard/Longboard; Women's Shortboard/Longboard are: 19 & Under; 20-49; 50-59; Legends 60 and Up
Second or subsequent divisions (each): $15 - second divisions, at $15 each, are listed at the bottom of the registration page
SURFRIDER Challege is happen again this year. There is a minimum of 4 teams required to hold the event.
Rodeo: 30 minute heats 1st 10 minutes = Shortboard, 2nd 10 min. = Longboard, 3rd 10 min. = twin fin fish. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN BOARD
Menehunes Push In division: for kids who CANNOT surf. Parents must assist
Vintage: Contestants provide their own board. Must be original 60's era, 9'0" or larger, single fin only.
Trophies in all divisions for 1st through 4th.
All entrants receive T-shirt.
Museum members will receive $5 credit upon confirmation of membership status. Membership must be current as of June 1. This may take until June 8 to process. Thanks for your patience.
