Event Details
The Studios of Cocoa Beach announces the featured artist for the month of April, Vania Elise. Vania is a multimedia artist who uses photography, painting & film-making as her mediums. After 10 years of photography experience, she began studying art and digital media imaging. As part of her studies, she assisted both a commercial/celebrity photographer & a fine art photographer. In 2012 she was nominated for photographer of the year for the Raw Artist's Organization. In 2015 she completed the Photography Mastered Program with mentor Nick Knight, where her fashion film, “Time Travel”, was featured on Show Studio.
Since moving to Brevard County Vania has concentrated on portraiture & storytelling through photography. Her fashion stories have been published internationally. Currently, she is exploring the art of acrylic paint pouring and excited to share her new found passion.
One of her original acrylic paintings will be awarded to an attendee during downtown Cocoa Beach Friday Fest, April 20. She will also be doing a demonstration of the acrylic pouring painting technique. Visit the Studios between 6 and 9 pm to meet the artists, and participate in a Make & Take activity for children
Vania’s work can be seen daily at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach.
