Collage Painting Workshop with Joan Kisner at Studios of Cocoa Beach

Join instructor and award winning artist Joan Kisner on Tuesday, February 27 from 1 to 4 pm at the Studios of Cocoa Beach and learn how to “cut and paste” a painting using scissors and glue. You’ll have a fun afternoon and learn the art of acrylic collage. We will create a “hot air balloon” collage with a painted background and added elements. Once you learn the technique and it’s secrets it will open a new world of painting

Joan has been an artist and art teacher most of her life with expertise in painting, fine art enameling and jewelry design. She has taught workshops in many areas and has had art selected for regional and national tours.

The class will be held at The Studios of Cocoa Beach , 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. The Studios is a non-profit gallery and the creative hub on the Beach with a full schedule of workshops. The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30am-3:30pm, Wednesday through Saturday10:30 am -8pm, and Sunday 11 am – 4 pm.
