Looking for a safe way to take your little ghouls trick-or-treating this year that is fun for the entire family? Why not bring them to the wildest neighborhood in town on October 22, 23, 29, and 30th between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m? It's the Zoo Boo Bash 2022, and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is inviting all 407area little ones to come and have a truly wild time this Halloween in Orlando.

Update FOR 2022

The Central Florida Zoo made the difficult decision to cancel the first weekend of the Zoo Boo Bash on Saturday, October 22, and Sunday, October 23. While they had hopes that the flooding from Hurricane Ian would recede in time for the event, at the current pace, they can't confidently project that our entrance road will be safe and clear in time to prepare. Ticket purchasers have been contacted by email with their options.

They anticipate being able to open in time for the second weekend of the Zoo Boo Bash on Saturday, October 29, and Sunday, October 30.

While the zoo residents are wild, the fun is not-too-scary at this popular Halloween event in Sanford for young and old alike. The critters love to decorate their habitats for visitors, and some may even do a trick or two while you're searching for the treats.

Attending the ZOO Boo Bash is included with general Zoo admission, though some additional fees may apply for specific activities. Kids are invited to their bring goody bags and wear their costumes for the trick-or-treat stations. There will, of course, be a costume contest. However, if you forget your outfit, it's not a problem, there will be a face painter to help your trick-or-treater fit right in.

You'll have nothing but a good time at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens Zoo Boo Bash, and make sure you stick around for the entire party, or else you'll miss the thrilling special surprise they have in store for you. Everyone is invited to dress up for this spooktacular evening of Halloween fun!
